The Russian Hair on "The New Life"

I have been reading on how people have been getting the russian hair rating on "The New Life" level, using the sniper rifle in the treehouse. I figured I would give it a go with my first go through during rookie. Well when I was up in the tree house I ran out of ammo for the sniper rifle. I restarted the level and I purchased the first clip upgrade for the sniper rifle.

Restarted the level but I still ran out of ammo before all the agents were dead. So I said to hell with this and I just killed all the remaining agents with my SMG tactical. I also killed the target with the SMG also. I sedated the wife and took the necklace and exited the level. Much to my surprise, I GOT the Russian hair rating.

SO, killing all the agents with the sniper rifle IS NOT necessary. You just have to kill them all without killing anyone else except for the target.

Was the bar red wen u were shooting them? (if not then thats probbaly why) coz to get the russian hair u got to kill everyone (execpt civillans) without the people knowing who did it. The only reason why people use the sniper is so that no1 see's u.;)

I used the ballers when I ran out of ammo for the sniper, just get the best scope and Silencer.

Finally got it! Much easier on Rookie! You don't have to do ANYthing to get the backup car to arrive! Finally...

Just got Russian Hare. I went in the treehouse and sniped until no more agents came out. ran around the house, poisoned the donuts and killed the 2 in the van, but there was still 1 guy in front of the house. Ran into the garage across the street, sniped him. Ran into the house, shot Vinnie with his own gun, sedated the wife while the caterer was looking at me, grabbed my rifle case and ran.

So.....you CAN have witnesses. I think the only requirement here is that you kill all agents, no innocents, and complete your objectives.

I heard that you HAVE to use a sniper rifle ONLY, NO other guns. I cant remember where I read this at though lol. So try that.

Head shots on twenty people, no civilians. Finish the game, then put on a silencer with the full upgrade of clips, lightweight frame, and the scope, it becomes really easy to get headshots with those, trust me, you'll get it.

i shot all with sniper except the 2 cops in the van (poisoned donuts), but no russian hare...
could be that someone saw me shotting so i guess you need to kill without witnesses... will try again

got the trick, kill without gettin in the red and dont kill the guys in the van before they called back up.... russian hare DONE!

i got this one with five witnesses.you just have to kill all fbi agents, kill the target, sedate the wife(for the microfilm) and never get into the red.

No, you don't need sniper whole time. Key requirement is 10 head shots, which obviously you got.

Finally got the russian hare to complete my 1000 points and also had 1 witness so it is headshots and all FBI killed along with target that counts !

For the special rating achievement, Just start a mission at the level "A New Life" on easy and right away run to the woman whom is cutting her bushes with some Hedge Clippers. Take the Hedge Clippers from her and proceed to kill every person with the Hedge Clippers, even the targets you NEED to kill. After the mission is over, you'll be awarded the "Insane Florist" rating along with a nice little achievement.

I sniped the wife on accident. It still gave me Russian Hare.
