Are all of the Brucie races this easy?

i just finished probably five of the races you get by calling up brucie. i've smoked everyone in each of the races, losing all of the other cars well before even completing the first lap. the first few races i was using the infernus because i thought they might be challenging and then after that i just used cars from off the street. i was just wondering, are all of the races this easy? and just for clarification, are there only a certain amount of races on each island?

Yes, they are all incredibly easy, and only 3 per island. Makes me wonder why only the 9 different tracks are required for 100%, but then you have to do an extra 16 for the achievement.

Yeah they are very easy you can take any car to the race, the AI is so retarded they run into gas stations and blow them selves up.....XD

There are all very easy. I just used my Comet and cruised to the radio. At some points, I didn't even know I was racing anyone lol

You could probably win the races on a Faggio the AI is so bad. I remember multiple races where I lapped the computer (I think I'd prefer that as an achievement instead of having to do 11 more races for no reason).

Aha, I can not wait to do this. I love racing. It is good to hear the AI is terrible though, because so am I at the driving in this game. Then again, I have only played for like 2 hours. MY brother plays all the time now. He needs to learn ow to share.

The easiest way to win a race is on an NRG900. Just pop a wheelie on take-off and cruise strait up the centre of the cars you are racing. The NRG's key is in its acceleration, just take the corners slow enough to get around safely and the Bike will do the rest on the straits. then again the same could be said for the infernos, but it can't do wheelies.

I didn't like how the races were so ridiculously easy. I was basically just touring Liberty City in my car because there were no opponents within miles of me. It got boring, especially having to do 20 of them for the achievement and having absolutely no competition.

I actually lost the first race three times, I kept flying off some stupid break in the highway and couldn't get back up.

Then I lost the airport race because I flipped.

It's all pretty easy if you can drive. The only time I had to concentrate was when it started raining during the race...

I too came into these expecting a challenge. Some of the races on past GTas were quite the little challenge put these were like racing against clones of stevie wonder.

you can start off racing in 1st/2nd just get the car you desire to race in and dive up the middle and slam pretty good into one of the leading cars and it will automatically say GO! and you should be in 2nd but if you do it real good you will push the other car to the side and gain 1st place right off the BAT!

I agree, the races in GTAIV were incredibly easy. 9 races were ok, seeing a new lap each time, but 20?!? That got boring very quick.

In one race i missed a corner, fell into the water, swam out with 20 seconds remaining to get to a vehicle, jacked a random one from the streets and still came in first.
The AI is also really rubbish, in some races I constantly heard other cars blowing up behind me...

Yeah the races are too easy I won every race, although doing those 20 was boring as it wasn't hard.

These races are incredibly easy. I won one or two races in a taxi when all of the compitition was in Infernuses, Coquettes etc. Very easily done, seem as the AI will crash at every corner lol.
