Conf/National/Trifecta need to be played not sim'd?

Am I to understand that these games need to be played and not sim'd through?

For the National, you can sim up(Or really play) to and play,
For the trifecta, you can sim up (Or really play) the 3rd national championship and play it. But you need to win 2 National Championships before.
For the conference, Im not sure, Ive played through the conference championship games (and won) but it didnt unlock the achievement for me.:rant:

I've sim'd through three times with 12 different teams selected. Each time, I had a team win the Conf Championship, National Championship and a separate bowl game. None of these unlocked the achievement for me. I'm thinking that these games need to be played, thus the reason for the post (to seek confirmation, or to hear if anyone actually DID get these achievements by simming the respective games and not actually playing them)...:confused:

I had to actually play them to unlock them, as did everyone I have talked to that has them. For the tri-fecta you should be able to sim the first two and then only play the third one to unlock it.

I actually played through 3 seasons. I got all the achievements except the Conference Champions, it didnt unlock for me. (I didnt use my team though, I selected one of the Conference Championships and played throuh one of those...5min/Varsity....no achievement) Maybe you have to win with your own team...:confused: :confused:

Your have to play these games they cannot be simmed. The only game you can sim is the first two National Championships then you have to play the third. All three have to be with the same team to get the Trifecta Achievement.

I am college football ignorant so please ignore the stupidity.

If I am lucky enough to get to the national championship without getting that week as a BYE week then the following year it becomes a BYE week. I'm tired of wasting hours on this, how is it done to where you can avoid the BYE week?
