PotC:AWE, achievements or not

The way I see it, I wouldn't rent or buy a game purely to get an easy thousand Gamerpoints as its paying £5/£10+ for them!
I want a game I can enjoy and earn achievement points without spending too much time solely finding them, so is the sheer playability of this game worth it?

i would say that it is to be honest. i did get it purely for the achievements lol. but it is deceptive because really they are not that easy, especially the 100 souls achievement. the game will keep you busy, its not a clear sail all the way through

Um, I've heard it'll take around 15-20 hours to complete. The game isn't THAT bad... but, there's a lot of collecting items and etc. You also have to re-play levels to get some of the jackanism chests and get your soul count up. I'm getting kind of bored with it now because it's just too easy. The hardest part is the duels, I think...
