yeah you can kill yourself 1k times thats how i got it lol but its easier if you use the flamethrower guy thats how i did it

The easiest way to get this is to create a Custom Ranked Match, set the Command Points to 500 and No Spawn Delay.

Then when you spawn press back and then X and then A (this "retires" your squad, instant suicide). Spawn and the lather, rinse, repeat.

Got up to 150 deaths a game..
