Can anyone help with the "Finish Him" Achievement??!?!?!

hey i need some help with the whole finish him achievement. im having a hard time with the counters..... can anybody shed some light on my problem???

I too am having a problem with this one as well, but try hitting the A button when the other person swings, it should work.

I myself am trying to get the timing right :(

Yeah its all about timing, as soon as you see their arm move press A then straight after press B and he will do a counter combo, I think you can only do 3 per person so you will need to piss 4 people off ;)

Very aggrivating and buggy achievement. First of all I got it with only 7 counters. My stats file even shows just 7. Second, hitting just A won't do it. I held the left trigger (to get a reticle on the target) and held down A at the same time when I saw the punch coming. When (if) you duck let the trigger and A go, then just tap Y. If your lucky Niko throws 2 punches and a kick. Repeat if you can.

just concentrate on ur opponents arms, as soon as they move to strike you, hit A then just tap B once. you should be able to get 10 off one opponent. (this does take some time to master so just be patient and keep trying, plus the fight are fun anyway).

That's crap that you can get 10 off one opponent! If you tap B immediately after dodging, you do a massive combo which floors them. Then everyone runs off...

The best way I did was to snatch people out of their cars. When I did that I was able to get like 7 counters in. Then I let the police kill me and got 2 other people when I spawn at the hospital and achievement unlocked.

Also its best to find big people, because they swing slow.

If you chose the very first bowling alley you can go to... (the one you take Michelle too) and run and push the three people bowling they will always fight you. Hold lock on (LT), and wait for them to throw a punch... you have to press and hold A and if you don't get hit immediatly press B. He sometimes does a 3 hit combo which annihilates them but sometimes just one punch. I think if the other person tries to swing a punch he will 3 hit combo them. Not sure of that though...

That car thing worked out great i just blocked a highway up and pulled people out one by one, each of them started a fight with me. thanks allot for the help

Any good spots to go where there are no police? That's my only problem...

I did the achievement by going right when you get out from your first savehouse, down to the pier. There you see a hot dog stand, theyre good targets because they punch slow. Then you run around the corner to the left and theres another one. When your done with him go back to the first who has respawned by now. 2 per hotdog stand means you just have to run back and forth 5 time :woop:

Is there anyone who would like to explain how they do 10 on one person? I have always been able to do only 2 per person.

Ive had the same problem with everyone else but i couldnt find a good place without getting caught by the cops
