Online Matches

I'm gonna feel real stupid for asking this but HOW THE HELL DO I JOIN AN ONLINE RANKED MATCH? I have looked EVERYWHERE. It only lets me start matches but nobody ever joins them. somebody please answer my stupid question.

edit: sometimes when it says loading i will hear voices of other players, but ALWAYS get disconnected....

Me and a friend just tried to play someonline games for the first time. Including ranked and couldn't seem to get in. We kept going into some kind of lobby or something? I don't understand it either :confused:

Rockstar's servers seemed to be screwing up last night on me. I couldn't get into a match either. Maybe they're still having trouble? I don't know. If you're going to the multiplayer through your phone, then it must be their problem.
