How do you get a 6 star wanted level if you opened up the 2nd Island?

I cant get this achievement the easy way as the 2nd island is already opened. How else can I get a 6 star rating. No matter how many cops I kill or things I do nothing gives me more than 3.

Just go to the heli tour area on the 2nd island (bottom right) take a helicopter, and fly over the third island, then just avoid being shot down.

Dude this is what i did , i got a speed boat with a roof/cover then went over to the 3rd island (Getting 6 stars) then just went as far out in sea as i could. Hope this helps

That's exactly what I did, sorta. I actually went and hung out with Brucie and went in his helicopter. Then I just flew over to the Western most island, got 6 stars, and just flew around for 5 minutes until I got the achievement. I was never even shot at.

I have the second island unlocked, but not the third one, and this is what I did to unlock the achievement...

I grabbed some body armor, 700 SMG rounds, and the fastest and most agile car I could locate (the Comet from Brucie's last mission worked the best) and went to the road block leading over to Alderney at Hickory Bridge. Then I turned the car around and slowly backed up along the left side of the bridge until I crossed the gap in the barriers and activated the six star status. As soon as the stars flashed on, I paused the game and pulled up the map, then I set my waypoint for the internet cafe down the street and around the corner to the left. As soon as I unpaused the game, I slammed on the gas and took off as fast as I could towards the internet cafe.

I don't know if I got lucky or not, but I got out of dodge fast enough to not have a hundred cops right on my arse, and with the Comet being so quick I was able to get all the way to the cafe and inside before the search party arrived. I left the car right in front of the door (which is the only entrance point) to further help me develop my choke point. Then I quickly ran to the back of the cafe and crouched down behind the last row of computers, watching and waiting with my SMG out and ready.

After a minute or so, two cops came in and started searching the place. I resisted the urge to pop up and spray them, and luckily enough they only searched the first two rows and then left. I thought I was going to make it the whole 5 minutes without having to fire a shot, but a minute and a half later another cop came in and searched the whole place and found me. After I shot him, it was on like Donkey Kong and they started pouring in at me. Using the free aim, I was able to pop them in their heads as they funneled in one by one, and the ones that did get inside were easily dispatched since they would stay up front and take cover. After there was a pile of bodies up front, I tossed a Molotov cocktail up there and set the entrance on fire, which served as a nice little flaming barricade...

I was going to shoot my car through the front door and make it explode if a bunch of SWAT trucks pulled up, but I never had to use that tactic. Five minutes went by without a problem, and after eight minutes of being held up in my fighting hole I finally ended up running out the front door (and catching myself on fire in the process) and going kamikaze on the army waiting for me outside. Just make sure you have FULL health AND armor, because you will get hit a few times from people outside taking some lucky shots when the door flings open. And take enough ammo to last you the whole time, or you will definetly be screwed. There are probably better ways to do this, but this worked for me like magic. Good luck...

(I couldn't find a boat, and Brucie and his helicopter hate me for accidently standing him up. Otherwise I probably would have tried one of the tactics mentioned in earlier posts...)

I got my achievement by accident, I set up a Justin.tv feed because I got the came on the 26th, and my friend wanted to see the game, and I was just flying around showing him the awesome view from the sky, and I flew over the 3rd island by accident, and I kept my 6 star wanted level for 9 minutes before I decided to land and use a Pay N' Spray to lose it.

If you've unlocked all the islands, I guess you could start with getting a four star wanted level by going onto the Airport runway, and then just keep killing cops from there, or start a new game (you can have more than one save - I have one for cheats and one for story) and run over to the second island to get it.

6 star and man hunt are easy.... once the second island opens up grab a helicopter from the helitours and fly under one or more of the bridges between the second island and the third...thats how i got 6 stars then i flew over to the first island and flew around for 5 minutes.. clinck

All i did was go to a Island i didnt unlock yet and went under the bridge. After I was under the bridge i went into a train station and waited in there

Just start a new game!

Turn off your Autosave to avoid the game saving over you current game. Once you get the achievement just load your current game. You keep the achievement regardless if you save your game or not.

that is exactly what i did too, just drive up by the shore and automatic 6 star then take off on the boat, i got mine just as i got back to the airport on the 1st island

how hard is it to avoid away from 4 stars any easy way to do it?

steel the helicopter from the 2nd island.....go to the 3rd to get the 6 star rating....go back to the second island and fly as high as you can get and land on the tallest building the cop heli's will not fly as high as you can go...

then for even more fun....after you get the 'one man army'....
