Cheats and 100% Game Completion theory

Well this is just a theory I am throwing out there.

When you input certain cheats it SPECIFICALLY tells you that certain cheevos are blocked.

NONE of the cheats tell you that 'Keys to the City' will be blocked.

So I am pretty sure that you can get 100% game completion while using cheats.

If they went through the courtesy of telling you like 'One Man Army' cheevo would be blocked, don't you think they would extend that courtesy to an achievement that requires a significant amount of time?

This is only a theory though.

Well, it sounds good in my opinion. Maybe someone could do everything EXCEPT the last mission (if that's possible, haven't gotten that far), then put in a cheat and do the mission to find out? I am sure someone must be close to that by now.

Alright Well I started using the cheat just for the supergt. Can't be bothered to look for a sports car for every couple of stunt jumps.

Though I don't have the time to plow through this game like other people do, so it will be quite some time.

i'm sure cheats will not prevent getting 100%. i've used a lot of cheats after finishing the story and i'm close to 100%.. will report as soon as i'm done.

If it is like the other GTAs then yes, once you use cheats you will never be able to get 100%

Even if you finish everything you need to, once you used the cheats and saved your game with them you will get stuck at 99% no matter what

Lets see if you can do it on GTA4

Im at 97,5 Completion, only need to collect the pigeons.I will make a backup save before finding the last one and i will put in a cheat then(have not used them till now) and report back

well Im am pretty far into using 'cheats' just for the supercar, so if I find out that its not allowed I will have GTA as one of those games I will play again later on sometime.
