"A Revenger's Tragedy" - HELP

This mission is driving me aggro... my problem is catching up to the helicopter in the boat, i never make it, any tips or could someone expand upon how they did this mission.

I am also stuck at this junction in the game and its killing me lol... if there is anyone who chose trhe mission path that takes them to this certain ending please post how you made it onto jacobs helicopter as my boat just isnt damn fast enough and i have been stuck at this point for over 24 hours now but have got it saved so have 3 hours in which todo this final mission...
