Not signed in? Glitch?

I start up my GTA4 game, signed in to XBL and everything. Shows the two Rockstar logos and GTA4 logo. Then comes up and says "You are not signed in. You will need to sign in to save your progress and to be awarded Achievements. Do you want to sign in now?" Well I hit A for yes...nothing happens. I hit B for no...nothing happens. I sign out and hit A and B...nothing happens. It's just frozen there, but there is music in the background. Has anyone else gotten this?

Yea I had this problem when I first had the game. I had a controller plugged into the console but the one I was using was first player. I turned off the console unplugged the controller then started it back up and it worked fine. Haven't had the problem since.

Wow I didn't even think about that. I had my guitar from Rock Band plugged in. Unplugged it and it works. Thanks!
