I was just wondering if cheats affect this achievement because im pretty sure ive blown up 10 cars in 10 seconds with a rocket launcher and the only other thing i could think of was that cheats maybe affecting it, just looking for a quick response? :confused:

i just caused a traffic jam on one of the bridges and threw a few grenades and got it. you really only need to blow up two or three cars and the rest will follow. pretty easy to do without cheats/

Yeah, there's a lot of discussion going on, the general consensus is, if you cheat, and you're able to actually unlock achievements afterward... you're damn lucky....


moral of the story, don't cheat until you have 1,000 just to be on the safe side :)

yes same problem here, im going to load up a new save with no cheats, but ill have to save up and buy rocket launcher.

What if you cheat and then reload your save, making sure that the file you cheated on wasn't saved at all?

No cause I just got it earlier and I stopped traffic on the freeway and had the cheats on....I used two grenades and then BOOM!!! 10 cars blew up, Bam got the achievment...so cheats do not affect this achievment, apparently you haven't blown up 10 cars yet....

Guessing I must've only got about 9 cars in 10 seconds then or something stupid like that. I'll keep trying. After this and the rolled over achievement, I'm going back to playing the game properly lol

Just go up to the big main bridge already unlocked...drive two cars and block all cars from going by, and then when you see ten cars, either throw grenades or rocket them....and the achievment will unlock...

Yeah, you don't need to cheat at all. I did the popular thing and just caused a traffick jam (counting to make sure there were 10+ cars there) and chucked a few nades at the cars. Let me just say that it's called Chain Reaction for a reason. Once a few go, they all will, lol.

I just got it. I loaded up a save with no cheats (well a few car ones), and i tried and got it 1st time, it does seem that cheating disables this achievement.

I guess it depend who you are. I unlocked after i used the 2 weapon cheats, COP wanted level cheat and the Turismo car cheat. I used a bus, blocked the highway, and threw about 4 grenades. YOU have to make sure there are 10 cars and they all explode. Some people have problems with the timing also. Make sure the cars blow up quick.
