Press B when grappling?

Uh...this doesnt work. I rented it and am stuck on mission 2 where you must grapple a drone and press b and keep pressing it. It never works. I switched to three different controllers. Still doesnt work. Any ideas?

Try tapping B really fast, like blue dragon fast, other than that I have no idea as it worked first time with me but I did have trouble with the tank grapples in the first mission.

Try pressing right on the d-pad to send power to melee attacks, grappling gets harder with the difficulty I think. I had the same problem, I started it on hard and it took me ages to rip that drone apart. Then I started a new game on easy, and the drone fell apart with ease.
