What do you tend to listen to the most?

I think that once again there's a huge amount of urban music and other genres have only been touched upon.

I tend to listen to:

Electro-Choc
The Beat 102.7
K109 The Studio
Other than that i'm not really impressed with the music in the game. I loved the trance/dance station for GTA3, really enjoyed the retro disco sounds for vice city but hated the 'urban' soundtrack for GTA: SA

Is there anyone else out there that isn't a big fan of all things urban? rnb, rap, soul etc. basically i've said urban because i don't want to offend anyone by saying 'black music' not sure if that's a safe term or not.

I tend to listen to the talk or news stations... I forget the names. Or, I turn it off (hold left or right for 3 seconds) and have my own music playing on my stereo (softly) while the game sounds come out of my TV speakers.

I like that you said "black music" in wondering if it was OK to say "black music"

lolz

I prefer "Black Music" to the term "Urban" :D

Whoever came up with that needs a Legendary Slap.

As for the radio, I find it depends on what I am doing at the time, but for my personal tastes, the disco/pop stations are not for me. I really like Vladivostok for some reason, just so funny hearing it in the back of a NY cab ;)

I don't think the soundtrack is too bad actually, I love that there are loads of songs that I think - oooh, this is good, but I don't know who it is! Nothing better than discovering new music while you're comitting crime!

;)

Conversely - I was well impressed when The Smashing Pumpkins came on when I was bowling!

alternatively is there a way to put your own music on as a radio station so that it only plays when you enter a car?

I have a load of online radio station rips i wouldn't mind bunging on my playlist.

If I remember correctly, San Andreas allowed you to use MP3s from your hard drive for the radio... I don't know if it is possible on IV, but if not - I'm sure they will release some patch for that in the future.

not that i know of, but she's lost a lot of weight and is portrayed very differently in japan than in her IM days.

now wears contacts, wears a lot of wacky japanese fashions....does a lot of promotion. its all good, she'll soon come back to doing good old fashioned smut!

I tend to listen to the talk shows but as far as music stations I only listen to the liberty rock, I like the classics and I was hoping they would have a few more stations like that. Vice city's soundtrack was awesome!!!

I think I prefered the San Andreas rock stations (both of them)

And Vice City's rock station and the pop station.

Not gotten in to the radio on this one so much though, but I do love Integrity!

Classics, The Vibe, Massive B Soundsystem and Tuff Gong. I can't believe that Alexander O'Neal - Criticize is on it, one of my favourite ever 80s tracks. All the stations are great though try to listen to them all equally.

I tend to listen to The Beat 102.7 and Massive B a lot. I sometimes listen to the talk shows when I'm bored of listening to the same songs over and over.

Yeah, but you might not know what the song actually is, thats what ZiT is for.

I think the electro station is the best, Justice and Kavinsky are awesome.
