Time spent in multiplayer count?

Does time spent in multiplayer count towards total time played? I'm asking cos I intend on going for Liberty City Minute first time through, but I don't wanna miss the initial multiplayer madness in the first week.

But arsing around in the city is not part of the storyline and that counts towards the 30hours.

This wont, burnout also was a complete differnt game. Also if your so worried just play SP first get the ach then go and do MP.

Burnout doesn't have an achievement for beating the story quickly. ;)
