I would think so but I guess we won't know until someone tries it. I'm pretty sure Rockstar wouldn't make it that easy for us anyway lol

Going to create a new profile, start the game, and enable some of these. If I get the "Off the Boat" Achievement, this means that we can use them :D Anyway, I only care for the Health one, because some missions need to be retried TOO MANY TIMES!

Edit: I forgot you need to do some missions to get the phone. Anyway. I got the phone, typed the code, "GTA5550100" for health and weapons, and on the top left of the screen, it said:

Cheat Activated! Achievement "Cleaned The Mean Streets" blocked.

So, I assume it blocks achievements. I'm not sure if this code blocks only the "Cleaned The Mean Streets" Achievement though... And I'm not sure if you can still get the achievement if you load the game, after you save...

Well, I tried typing the health and weapon cheat (GTA5550100) again, and it always says "Cleaned The Mean Street - Achievement Blocked". So I can't know if the block remains after a load. The best way to find out, is blocking an achievement which is easy to obtain without cheats, and then, save, load, and try to obtain it. If you obtain it, then the load cancels the block. I'll try to do whatever I can to find out ;)

Edit: Is there any way to store a Helicopter? If yes, this is the easiest way to find out :D

Hmm, another decent theory. Maybe once you unlock the achievement(s) that the code "blocks", you can use it freely, without any punishment.

Sounds like each cheat only blocks certain achievements, so like tom burger said, if you're able to use them after you get those achievements it'll be cool.

@ bunn89: If you have the time, please, start a new game and unlock the middle island. Then, enable the cheat to spawn a helicopter. Save and Load. After that, go to Heli Tours (you may have not unlocked it, but I suppose you know where it is) and steal a Helicopter. Got to the last island to get 6 Stars and then try to get the achievement "One Man Army" by just flying above Liberty City for 5 Minutes. If you unlock it, then YOU are the man :D

So, for example, if you got the "Cleaned the Mean Streets" achievement, and then starting using the health and weapons cheat, you could get all other achievements? Sounds pretty cool, but a little too easy.

Sorry I don't have the game yet (17 more hours, hehe), so I can not just try for myself atm. And I am really excited to hear the news and outcome about this cheats and achievements discussion.

Yeah, that's right. If you get the "Cleaned The Mean Streets" Achievement, you can use the Health and Weapons Cheat (GTA5550100) as much as you want :D

Hey Daredevil, i would like to think im quite far into the story... but on my current save don't know what you mean by "Heli Tours". I've done several Heli Rides with Guy Named "B". I can now simply call him and ask for a pickup in his helicopter, and i've unlocked the That's How We Roll "Unlock Special Ability of Helicopter" achievement, but as far as i was aware, i can't just jump in a helicopter or can I ?

Bunn89, I'm talking about a location at the bottom right of the Middle Island. It has an icon of a Helicopter, and you can get tours from there. You can also steal their Helicopters. Anyway. Are you going to try the thing I told you?

I CAN CONFIRM, THAT I'VE JUST UNLOCKED ONE MAN ARMY, BY STEALING A HELICOPTER FROM HELI TOURS, FLYING TO 3RD ISLAND & HOVERING FOR 5 MINUTES...

Not true, I've used the spawn cheats in past versions for vehicles and still managed to get 100% in all three of them.

you know i was gonna use the health cheats but doing the cop side missions are a beep and you cant die either or have to start over. which is a pain but sooner or later ill get them. thanks for sharing some of the cheats and letting us know how they work and dont with the achievements and such :D

I would be shocked if there weren't more cheats for this game. San Andreas alone had over 50 cheats. These are probably random ones discovered by players who were fortunate to get the game early.

What if you do save and restart the game and reload that same save though? is the achievements still locked out? or can you still get them after saving with a cheat on?

What if i activate a cheat and then enter it again? does it deactivate it and let me get the achievement?

I need to know if the only sure fire way is to go after the achievments first without worrying about saving. Only one that looks like a pain is the police one as i remember you had to do those straight without stopping or dying -_-

Police ones u can do when you want, Ive done them every now and then and just got to 20 now. I was doing them in like groups of 2 or 3.
