This contest needs to have to winners repicked.

The correct answer isn't Britain. It is London, England. Someone saying they are "British" is like someone saying they are "English". A British person is not necessarily from Britain, and an English person is not necessarily from England. I don't know who told you the answer is Britain, but it is not. I sent a message to them ASKING where they were from, and it is in fact London.

Also: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_people

If you check on the right: "Notable British people" there are MULTIPLE people from London England. This contest was fucked up and needs new winners. I'm not sending this because "I SHOULD WIN!" or anything, you can disqualify me if you want, but it should have new winners who actually got the answer right.

They specifically asked for the answer that was on the front page.

Regardless of petty vagueness and who's who in Europe, that was the requirement, and Britan was listed on the front page.

I completely agree with Slormer.

I could even counter-argue the argument that the contest said "can be easily found on the homepage" by saying that the phone number is on the homepage and my vast knowledge of area codes helped me decipher that they were from London. Not to mention, 'can be found' doesn't say anything about it having to be found there.

If you read the question..

We're looking for three winners this time around, and we're looking for an answer. But razzle, what's the question?! Well, the question's simply, where are the Joystick Junkies from? Simply take a gander at their site: http://www.joystickjunkies.com/ and read around until you find the answer. The answer we want is clearly on their homepage.and then i quote from the website:
BUILT FOR THE FUTURE. ENJOY FOREVER!
Joystick Junkies is a British fashion label that has fused fashion and video games pop culture. We're inspired by the energy and styles of the 70's and the bold colours and attitude of the 80's. It was the last days of disco, the best of punk and the beginning's of new wave...

..so the Ansewer is most definatly British/Britain...

I am English but I am also British and I am also European.
You clearly don't understand this yourself.

And the whole point of the contest is for you to go there site.. thats why its on there site.. its advertising in return for prizes.

No, the answer is not "British". The question states: "Well, the question's simply, where are the Joystick Junkies from?"

WHERE are they from? British is not a place, the PLACE is London, England.

Krueger, I'm fairly certain I CAN change who won, since this was a mistake by the contest team (not entirely sure who runs it). It was a small detail they overlooked, and I know it can be fixed. Thanks.

But that IS NOT the full question you are confused..

The answer we want is clearly on their homepage. On the frontpage it says they are BRITISH.

Britain is a place.. I know this because I live in Britain in the London Borough of Surrey in the town of Sutton.. that is in Europe.

Making me : British, Londener, Suttoner thats also European.

To me it looks like you are just quoting only part of the question because you are not happy with the result and you are being very panatic.

Either way... Does it matter... We asked for an answer that was clearly on their website and there is no mention of England.

We are not going to redo a competition because of a "technicality".

A simple browse would have made this thread non existent.
