Bowling - Getting three stikes

Does anybody have a good tip in how to get any stike at all. I feel pretty lame not getting good scores while getting a 8 strike in a row on the wii feeling hardly a challenge :woop:

Its a freaking nightmare to get this, expecially when the similar ach's are so easy (darts, pool etc)

2 ways i got it

1/ stay in same place at start, move analog stick faster (ball goes quicker and swerve it left with aftertouch)

2/ move left a bit from start, move faster again and hopefully hit pins dead on,

i was getting 2 in a row for ages, then finally got 3

Still haven't got this, always seem to get two strikes then hit 9 pins on the third.

To get the strikes I move once to the left and hit the pins head on. Just can't seem to get that third one nailed.

i've been bowling a lot with friends.. and man, this achievement is a PAIN IN THE ASS! i once managed to get 2 in a row, but on my third try ONE FUCKING PIN remained :( i was soooo pissed. tried dozens of different methods, head-on, using aftertouch etc.. i don't know what else to do :(

just found out that if you use the right lane, you don't even have to move to hit the pins head on. still hasn't helped me though... i got two strikes again, one pin left on the third one :(

i found it easy 2 move left twice.. den as str8 as u can.. move right analog up and down... abour halfway down d lane.. tap rite analog to the rite once or twice.. and strike? i got mine like that:uzi:

Speed didn't seem to matter all that much as long as it wasn't too slow. Hope that helps some of you.

Yeah this achievement is terrible. I got the darts and the pool achieve on the first try, but bowling is a pain in the ass :(

oh my god yup. I knew you had to be at least two steps over to get the strike.

anyway your method is SPOT on man. you need to be DEADLY accurate with the up and down part or else it wont get you a strike. dont try to do down and up in one motion. press down then up.
you need to be bolwing at about 25 - 26 mph :)

if you make the braw back with the right stick and back forward in a nice and controlled way you should get a strike almost every time- I got two turkeys in 10 frames that way

I've tried to stand to the left and roll the ball as quickly as possible. I got 2 in a row once but seems like this is achievement you might get right off the bat or might be there for a while trying to get it all while doing the exact same thing.

I thought I'd never get it but I followed the tips on here. Make sure when you flick the Right Stick back then forward that you do it quickly and, as said before, straight. I got 2 turkeys in one game with this method so just keep at it.

Same with me! It is either always 2 on the far left, or 1 on the far right. I have gotten a few strikes, but never 2 in a row or 3. :(

Two steps to the left didn't work for me, there were always some pins left.

Instead I just went only one step to the left, moving the right stick as fast as possible back and forth and adjusted the rolling ball (if necessary) to hit right between the upfront pin and the one to the left of it.

Resulted in a strike everytime. :)

Method: like has been said may times before, left lane, step left twice, now slowly pull back the thumb stick and concentrate on dead centre going forward, everyone of my strikes was around 17.5/18.5mph,

WOW This took me like 5 games to get all i did was go into the left lane hold the Left Thumbstick until he walks Twice then i pressed "A" and pulled back the right Thumbstick forward and back with no right or left directional stuff. I tried doing it fast and don't know if that helped or not. I would post a video of it but i wasn't taping it so sorry.

I have concluded that my game won't allow it. I mean I am doing it straight down to the 1/10000000000 of a nano meter and it always ends up missing 1 pin (second time after getting strike). I guess I will never get 1000/1000 because my game is retarded.

I was doing what he suggested and with no success. I finally got when I started pausing before I moved the analog stick forward. The ball MAYBE moved 12 hehe but it was controlled and accurate.

I found this to work as well, but the other way around: speed didn't seem to matter much as long as it wasn't too fast. 28 and up and the ball just plows right through. I feel like I'm aiming just a touch to the right, but I can't be sure. (I generally do back-pause-forward on the right stick and hit somewhere between 18 and 22 mph.) I just bowled a 277, started off with 10 straight but left one on my first ball in the tenth and two on the last. For those who care, picking up pins on the right side (6, 9, and/or 10) was moving one step to the right and bowling hard and straight.

It doesn't work for crap on lane 2. Bowled a 114 there. crap on that.

At least the darts game was like others I've played. This, not so much ... then again, I never bowled 277 on the Intellivision. :)

Yeah just make sure you aim the get it stright up, I like to aim for the start button. If it doesnt go straight you can end up with splits or leave one pin standing
