I wasn't to keen on the idea of Wii Fit when it was first announced but my mum and girlfriend were determined they wanted to get it.
So we got it on Friday on the release date.

No word of a lie, it is definately fun and very addictive.

The fitness games like Yoga and Muscle Workouts in all seriousness can be done yourself without the game, but the game does give people who don't have the insentive to do them insentive with the scoreboards so you can compete with your friends.

The balance games that are personally my favourite on it are very cool;
My favourite being the snowboarding game, the actual idea of using the board and weight distrubution for controlling the snowbaord etc is very good and if a new version of SSX Tricky or a skating game was to come out using the Wii Fit board it would be a great success.

Overall I think its really good because its just really fun.
I just hope they bring many more games out using the Wii Fit Board because it is a really good idea.

What does everyone else think of it?

Not out here in the states yet, but I'm getting it for my wife for Mother's Day. I doubt I'll ever use it, but she's very excited for it. I'll let her know it's a good time though.

Yeah my eldest sister wants it really bad. But she's gotta wait over a month for her birthday to get it.
It looks like loads of fun. And i recon they'll sell shit loads...

It's pretty much sold out everywhere here in the UK. I'm going to get it at some point, but cause of buying GTAIV this month, I'll hold off a bit for it. I'll probably end up getting Mario Kart first as it's cheaper and then Wii Fit.

My mum bought it about a week ago, and I tried it, and it's really good fun, and its addictive.

I just picked this up for my wife this morning. It's a lot of fun, and now I need to find somewhere else to hook up my 360... :).

I knew I should have reserved it!

Wii Fit is something that I've been watching for a while now. I didn't realize that it was released so soon. Hopefully I can find myself one, so I can start having fun while exercising.:p

There seem to be plenty of them around. I was out with my family this afternoon and saw a bunch at like 3 places we went to, including a Gamestop where the employees had promised me they only had 1 copy left for reservation and that there was no way I'd get it on release day. Man I hate it when they lie to me about that stuff.

On a side note, my Wii thinks I'm fat, and now I have to figure out how to cope with that.

That's good news for Jdm.:)

I'll try to pick one up, as I'm dying to see how Wii Fit works. It's all about RESULTS baby!:woop:

The only reason I will buy it is when skate it comes out. I will buy a wii, wii Fit, and skate it. Other wise I see no reason to get it.

I'm Fitness Age 23 at the moment after a couple tries. I'm vastly underweight too. :p
~17 bmi I believe? I need to bulk up a good bit. :D
Plus, it said I lost 2.5 pounds after about 30 min. of playing, but I might have just burped or something.

Excellent game, but I can't see myself playing it daily. Wii's got some good stuff now.

EDIT: And if they could make a paintball game to use the Zapper in conjunction with the Pad, I might be tempted to abandon the 360 for a while.

Yeah, some of those games are great fun, but they have the potential to suffer from the same problem Wii Sports does. For a while it's the best thing ever and you can't get enough, and then all of a sudden you're over it and just want to sit around and play a real game. Don't get me wrong--I'm really enjoying it right now--but I don't see much long term potential in terms of fun. Still great to get in shape though.

Yes my thoughts exactly. I haven't got this yet, but I do expect it to lose its novelty in the same way Wii Sports did. Sure, I still go back to it now and then, but only when you have friends round etc. And for the £70 price tag, I'm not so sure......

Why every guy should buy their girlfriend a Wii Fit

Haha It's my girlfriends birthday tomorrow and I have bought her a Wii Fit ;)

She wanted one round Christmas time but they were sold out everywhere and I think she has forgotten about it now so should be a nice surprise.

I played on one the other day and thought it was great fun :)

I agree with the person above though that said that it may have the same sort of effect that Wii Sports did, astounding and fun to begin with but once you get over the initial enjoyment It can become a little bit stale.

Most fun using the WII FIT in RRR TV Paty game.
