I just got this from ESPN.com and it looks like 85 new features in the game, and Chris Collinsworth and Tom Hammond will be the new commentators. Thank goodness, I could not stand that radio announcer. This game is gonna be the best sports game ever and it's the 20th Anniversary Edition. Also Brett Favre is on the cover. This game is gonna be great.

Didn't expect to see Favre on it! Wow, that is pretty cool though. When I first got into football back in Elementary/Middle School years, he was the reason i started liking the NFL.
I'm glad they chose him to cover for the game.

yea but EA Sports wouldn't be able to put him in the game if he doesn't come back before June...if he comes back after that, they won't be able to put him in the game...and how is he gonna come back, the Packers are retiring his jersey on the first Monday Night Football game of the season...so if he comes back he won't have a jersey....ha :)

Madden hasn't commented in a couple of years, Haven't you noticed?
This is a wonderful move by EA. Hopefully it brings some new life and humor to the game!

no they weren't...the only football game 2K ever mad that was any good was ESPN NFL 2K5, thats the only one they've made that was worth anything....other than that year, Madden beat 2K in football every year...

1. Yes they can put Favre on the roster if he comes back afterJune (Roster Updates)
2. We hate EA becuase they are bastards who are worse than orphan killers becuase all they care about is money and feel that it is okay to make crap games just becuase they are the only game availabile.
3. Collinsworth is a great choice one of the better commentators. A level up from that crappy radio guy. Who is in cohux with the orphan killers.
4. Can not believe that no one has mentioned the curse. I think Brett is going to get hurt and lose all of his money.
5. I like numbering my posts hooray.

I know this is for the Wii. But it's a new cover.
This is what the cover looks like for the Wii version, personally I think it looks horrible:
