Whats this like for points?

I just bought this off my skint m8 for £5 ;) and I was gonna start playing it. Whats it like for getting points on it, are they quick? I dont want to have to spend 15 hours before I get a single point coz theres nothing worse than and big 0 on your gamerscore.

Took me about 30 hours to get 900 points, and that included a lot of screwing around on stuff I didn't need to do. If you do co-op with a friend and have them use the same character on the 2nd player the entire time, that character will max out and you two will be able to beat storylines really quickly.
