since downloading the expansion, i can't get the missions to unlock the original bodyguards form the original game please help

I don't think you can get Kojiro or Katsuie as bodyguards after getting the expansion, since they are now playable characters.

You should be able to buy the replacement bodyguards(Yoshiteru Ashikaga and Joun Takahashi) in the shop, without needing to do any specific missions.
