Demo Dilemma

Does anyone else have problems downloading game demos? If one ever does download, then It won't play and freezes. Could it be my schools internet security? Or am I just SOL.

Once it downloads it should play fine.
If it dosn't download then your School's security is blocking downloads,or has a big firewall to get around/Has really slow download speeds.
It could also be your Xbox system.

Is it because the files are bigger?

If your talking about it never downloading,does it even go up a percent?
Because most demos Avg 750MB(3/4's a Gig),and at a slow download speed that could take forever.(At 12KB/S the 750MB download would take 1041.6666666666666666666666666667 Hours.)

I would try finding a site to find out what your download/upload speeds are.

It usually downloads some then says it can't download the file.

Sounds like school security blocking it...times out or something...though it could be your xbox. take it to a friends and test it to see if its the system itself...then address network issues

It could be very well timing out from the Schools network security features.

So I've tried it at a friends, and it still is not downloading. Is it the Xbox itself or is it the hard drive.

I'll hopefully finish a game once school gets out. I'm playing, but just not enough time to finish. Plus, I don't want Avatar to be my first complete game.
