who has seen this film? i have just came back from seeing this at the movies i thought that this film was excellent i think its one of the best films of the year so far. if you have seen it what did you make of the film?

It was way too long and, all of a sudden, after the movie everyone was an expert at counting cards. Go figure. :rolleyes:

I have no interest in this movie either way;

I saw a documentry on Card Counting and famous acts of it a while back, so my quota is up.

It actually wasn't too bad. The plot was pretty cliché, it was predictable at times and the acting was mediocre but it kept my interest throughout.

This is the best movie of the year so far imo...10/10...the acting was amazing to me...Laurence Fishburne was amazing in this movie...and Kate Bosworth is gorgeous and an amazing actress...and Kevin Spacey did great....the ending was the best part of the whole movie, don't wanna give it away for people who haven't seen it yet and want too...but this is a great movie...

i dont see why there is so much hate for this film. it is excellent. its one of the best films of the year so far. if you havnt seen it yet i suggest you go see it well worth going to see.:)

I haven't heard a single person claim to be a card counting expert after seeing the movie.

It wasn't even that long, and I thought it was pretty good. (I've read the book, and seen the History channel documentary as well.)

Well your friends are a lot cooler than mine. Mine were claiming they knew how to, it was such an annoying ride home.

I thought it was a bit long, some scenes didn't need to be as long as they were (can't think of any, but there were a few).

Although, the one shot where they were in the Hugh Hefner suite in the pool was cool looking.

I though it was grand. Kevin Spacey is one of the best actors out there, and I really liked him in the movie. Although the movie was a bit different then how the events actually happened in real life; it was worth the 6 bucks to see it. The ending was pretty funny too I thought.

Hey Sanction, did you know I can count cards?! I'll show you sometime. I can even do it with my eyes closed, I just need to smell the cards; it is really easy, trust me.

It's a real good movie. Real fun. Stop listening to your friends and go actually try to enjoy a movie for once instead of joining everyone else and doing what they can to shit on things so no one makes fun of them.
