Seems like way to often excellent shows get canceled while the crap ones live on. Sealab 2021 comes to mind (though I think Adult Swim showed a few episodes a while ago, I don't think they still are though). Or if you wanna go back even further, I remember loving that show Are You Afraid of the Dark on Nickolodian when I was like five.

Ah, Nickelodeon. How I miss thee. Rocket Power, Ahh! Real Monsters, Rocko's Modern Life, Rugrats...all classic shows. I remember back in the day of waking up on Saturday morning and watching good, quality, cartoons. Now the channel is just full of crap with Britney Spears' younger slutty sister and overacting by every child star on that channel. It's a shame, really.

FOX has also canceled Family Guy and Futurama. So Arrested Development will get some more episodes in about 5 years if trends continue. :p

The only shows that are still on that I like are House, 24, Kitchen Nightmares/Hell's Kitchen, and The Dead Zone.

The one thing Fox has is the reputation of not realising when it has a hit show and fucking it up.

i.e. Firefly the best f'n show ever that was sabotaged from the beginning. The last show shown...like 13 episodes in....was the PILOT! It was that out of order. How can you have a serial sci-fi action/drama show that f'n out of order? It's not Star Trek. And that is why Fox is stupid.

I know what you mean. Fox fucked up big time with Firefly. Not only did they cancel it right away, they showed it out of order, like you stated. I love the show, nonetheless.

Original American Gladiators never should have gone off the air,
Sealab 2021 is good, but they just didnt have enough episodes to keep going
X-Files... Well it got bad when David left the show... Wish he stayed...

Yeah Fox have canceled some of the best shows ever. Serenity was good but a few more seasons would have been much better. And as for Arrested Development, fox pretty much canceled one of the greatest comedies that has ever been made.

The Adventures of Pete and Pete was amazing!!!

I'm going to change my region on my DVD player just to get the boxsets!

I do agree though that Nickelodeon was amazing back in the day. Alex Mack was also a show I used to love back in the day.

:(:drunk:( Exactly the same with me, i was hoping there'd be an OFAH Christmas Special last Christmas, but there wasn't :(

It'd be great if there was some kind of Friends reunion- but then again there was that "Joey" series on Five last year.

As for Futurama, i don't think i've seen ALL the episodes yet, i keep watching replays of them on Sky1/Sky2 :p

Another show i miss is Fawlty Towers- classic, and only 12 episodes ever made :(

Buffy
Futurama
Sabrina The Teenage Witch (how could no one have not mentioned it?! It was like my main show on Nickelodeon :p)
Oh and Friends too even though it got a bit iffy near the end.

But Futurama is coming back so all is not lost! Well it's coming back as 4 feature length movies so even cooler :D The first one was classic Futurama.

Married with Children
X Files

Buffy
Angel
Soap(70's show I saw on DVD)
Stargate SG:1
Twilight Zone (With Forest Whittaker as host)-2nd that!

All the old cartoon shows you guys mentioned were amazing. Salute your Shorts was one of my favorites along with Rugrats.

I still believe Disney went down the drain when they cancelled Even Stevens and Lizzie McGuire. Those were the last 2 good Disney shows for me. Nick lost it along time ago.

I would say The Twilight Zone, Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, and Home Improvement but they show re-runs of The Twilight Zone all the time on Sci-Fi and the other two on Nick At Nite (and I think TBS as well).

I am willing to bet that pretty much all of these have already been posted. Haha.

You guys have named a lot of Nickelodeon shows, and i agree with most of them, but i'm surprised you've left out GUTS and Legends of the Hidden Temple! I loved those two shows and sometimes i'll check Nick GAS to see if the re-runs are on.

Other than those two, i really miss Firefly and i will miss Battlestar Galactica after this season.
