Help please

Hello I posted in General xbox in a thread that doesn't seem to be responded to much so I decided to repost. Sorry if that is against the rules of this forum. I tried to purchase the new Call of Duty 4 maps and I typed in my redemption code correctly and I just kept getting an error code of : 801613fb. Any help is greatly appreciated

i think what it is sayign is it cant find you HDD try shutting it off and taking out your HDD then put it back in and try again

Yeah, sometimes that error pops up when you put in a code. Sometimes it just means you put the code it wrong. It has nothing to do with your 360, it's all on M$'s end.

If you double check the code and it's in there properly, give Xbox a call (1-800-4MY-XBOX), cause that means there's something actually wrong with the code. Sometimes when they print the cards they forget to activate them, or some lazy such like that. Just give them a call, and they'll be able to get it working for you.

I agree with Khaos, it's the code. Just call Xbox and let them know, they will usually give you a new code right over the phone.

Thanks guys apparently the person at the register didn't validate the card so I have to show the receipt to get it taken care of.
