Noob Question

hey guys

finally got off my ass and whent and bought this game......but there is one thing that i dont understand

when u are tuning in the TV signal how do u get it to stay tuned and does it tell u when u have done it correctly??

As you rotate the right analog you will notice the picture becoming more clear to let you know you are doing it right. Also if you have subtitles on they will be white when the message is clear, but the text will start fading gray if you need to adjust it. Which is very helpful when tuning radios. Once you find a clear signal, you may still have to move the analog around to keep it strong as it changes. At anytime you can press the back button to see if it added it to your total tv/radios for the level you are currently on.

And just a note, you don't have to be perfect. As long as the message is somewhat clear it will count it. You can even press the back button while tuning to see if it registered it.

Yeah, just keep watching the program on TV once its finished you'll see it and and the rabbit ears kinda go back to being upwards

It's like this with things such as Radio's, TV's, and the Emitter things. So just do the same thing for all of them.

The emitter machine things are much harder to control though because you don't know where the color red went, so it disappears really fast.

Technically all you need to do is press the 'A' button and don't need to tune the antenna whatsoever to get the final achievement for 'tuning' them all. Although, you'll miss out on the back story which I don't recommend playing the first time through.

I noticed that lil feature when playing on FPS mode, that's why I mention it.

Yeh, theres a running story on whats going on with riots and stuff outside, but if ur just after the achievement or u have already listened then u just need to touch it for it to count

I like the TV especially in the 1st level when it explains the Emitters and shit, it really helped make sense of the dead birds in the 1st game.
