One Game Question and One Technical Question

1) In Mass Effect, after you beat the game, when you go to start the next "chapter" (or play the second time around) do you have to use the same character to keep the experience, and if yes, can you change his class before you start?


2) Has Microsoft done anything to prevent the RRoD? I fear that I might get it as I am up all night playing games (such as Mass Effect) for long periods. (12+ hours.)

For The RROD.. just make sure it's well ventilated, otherwise you may have problems..

I've never played ME nor have I had RROD but lots of my friends have. Microsoft are doing all they can but they can't just recall all the xboxes in the world but just put new ones on the shelves with things in them to prevent RROD. The best thing you can do is just not play so much and/or in a well ventilated room.
