Shadow Weapons

Since the collectible items guide focuses on the achievement items and not all of them. Does anyone know where to find the shadow weapons? I've only managed to find the hammer on the ice level and thats too far into the game. It would make getting carnal index far easier since all the kills would count towards it.

Found this on a Beowulf forum.

Shadow Sword
Unknown but can be stolen from shadow battle and then it is available from then on.

Shadow Shield
Along the ramp towards the Wolf battle. There is a flat part in the middle. You can climb down the left side. Episode 9.

Shadow Spear
This can be found by falling off the cliff face as you exit from the bogs and before you save the virgins. It's before you go across any of the bridges and fight any enemies. Yes, you can actually get the spear before fighting the shadows, I would still steal their sword though. Episode 7.

Shadow Hammer
This is in the ice caves, the second last ice breaky thingy, you will see a blue door -- break it and get your hammer. You still have enough time to break the ice thingy afterwards.

so if you skipped a weapon, the spear on episode 7, can i steal it from someone later or i can't get that weapon anymore?

also, the shadow weapons don't tie into achievements or do they?

no the shadow weapons DO NOT mess with the achievements, but they look pretty cool. the only one i missed was the shield, the sword and spear were kinda obvious and the hammer i found on accident. i noticed the shadow thanes also had the shield but couldn't steal it or make them drop it.

the only time later i saw a shadow weapon was on Brecca during his fight(sword), but i had my own so didn't bother to try and take his

I managed to steal both a sword and a spear from the shadow thanes. And I tried stealing something from Brecca, but you cannot steal in that grabbing sequence, only crush (y)
