Am I screwed?

I only have the money to have TWO extra ships in the stage 'Anger and Mercy'. So,basically,I have to be VERY fast and lucky to save the refugee ships for the 'Saviour of Aurelia' achievement. However,every attempt with my three ships has failed me. Please don't tell me that I'll have to go through this game ALL over again.... I only want to play this through ONE more time,and that's for the Starfleet Admiral achievement. However,trying to get this achievement on Admiral will only complicate matters. Guys,how do I handle this mission with an enterprise and two galaxy ships?

Trying to do this on Admiral unless you just love the challenge is not necessary. I suggest starting a new game (using a memory card) on ensign to get this achievement. It will be much easier then you can return to the hard drive and continue on Admiral.

I hope you know that these achievements are not stackable so you have to play again on Ensign and Captain if you want the full 1000.
