It's internet, extremely slow internet, but internet nonetheless.

Yes, depending on the speed of the internet service you choose, you will have different amounts of information that you can receive at a given rate. Whether this means gaming time on Halo, or downloading an arcade game or something, you can only download just so much information at one time. Once thats used up, you will either lag or get kicked out the game completely.

I would advise that you check with your ISP and find out what kind of speed you should be expecting in your area.

yea satellite is not recommended for gaming that is what they told me when i called them up!! :)

it would have a seriously lag and might disconnect you from live games...example halo 3

I have regular cable internet, but I always wondered why they put a limit on the downloads.
