View Full Version : Thinking about buying
I'm in the mood for a new MLB game and I think this is going to get the nod. The one thing I am curious about is if you can make your own player? I'm guessing the answer is yes but how much customization/progression can you do to that player? I always liked doing that in baseball games and hope it's fun in this one.

There is complete customization of your player. From sunglasses to shoes, every playing stat. It's only a bit limited with the different faces available. Only a bunch of generic heads.

I've only had it freeze once. There was an announcement about a patch to fix some of the gameplay issues and framerate hiccups.

Its a great gameplay. I thought the graphics from 2K7 were actually better these are lacking abit but a good over all game

The gameplay is pretty fun, but the glitches are really annoying. I cannot believe they shipped it with this many glitches. That is the bad part of being able to put out patches. Developers ship games that aren't ready, so they can make their street date and then hope they can get a patch out asap. But if the glitches don't bother you to bad you can enjoy the game.

its not that there r any technical problems with the game, its the fact that its just not a good game

If you are a fan of baseball get it! Great game..... a lot of these people that are hating on this game I don't believe are baseball fans just Achievement fans so I wouldn't listen to them.
Mine doesn't freeze very often at all..... A solid buy!
