Bladestorm 2???

Hey everyone,

Like many of my fellow KOEI fans, I have particularly enjoyed playing this game so far. I am nowhere near the end and it's extremely challenging as you can actually die in this game if you don't pay particular attention to the rock-paper-scissors combat system.

That said, I have 3 issues in my opinion that would make this game be by far one of if not the best game KOEI has released to date:

1) Improve the graphics of squad units and units overall on the battlefield, but somehow allow to have just as many units in an area fighting that does not reduce the framerate; also, if possible improve the environment graphics a tad.

2) Vary the objectives and overall style of the side quests.

3) For the love of god, (though I have gotten a few laughs from it) hire better voice actors??!!

Do those 3 things for the sequel (I hope there is one :)) and you will have a blockbuster game KOEI.

In that regards, all these ideas I aforementioned discussed doesn't mean anything if KOEI will not make a sequel. Anyone know any rumors about a sequel coming, or know someone in the inside?

With the company's history I'd not be surprised if a sequel was made, in fact I expect one very soon to be announced. I too would like more variation in the missions and side quests, more then just find something, someone, or capture a certain base. As for the voice actors, don't hold your breath, I haven't heard a single one of their games yet that hasn't had voices that make people laugh at the overall poor quality of them. Perhaps they are there for the comic relief factor.

I will look forward to a sequel regardless, this was a fun game and has room to grow.

Well, knowing Koei, the next BladeStorm game will be an XL version that has some new squad types and a new Game Mode.

No problem, I already decided (and just did) buy this awesome game from Gamefly for 1/3 of the retail price!! If the sequel is XL download $20 or $30 say, then bring on the party!!
