Language glitches?

Hello everyone,

I bought this game in the "French version", which basically means I have the manual in French but my Xbox360 and the game is in English. But somehow I sometimes get small bits of dialogue (like guards yelling at me, or people freaking out when I climb on buildings) in French. I don't know why this happens, I was just wondering if this has happened to anyone else also?

I believe it's explained in the game, but I'm not sure if that's what you are referring to.

There are actually some characters in the game speaking french (or something not english), Templars for example, and the crusader guards also. Dont be surprised if they see you clambering around on the walls they will say something in a bemused tone in frenchy poos.

Wow, so it's actually part of the gameplay and storyline? I remember Lucy of Vivic talking about how Desmond could hear people talk in English (or something like that) but I didn't know that was why some people talked in other languages also.
