Would’ve made a nice RPG

The physics engine in this game is so ridiculous that at some times its comical. I don’t even get mad, I just crack up. But the terrain is amazing. The lighting is pretty. I’ve been in the forest and watched as the sun fanned through the tree branches and thought what a beautiful place this is. Unfortunately much of the beautiful parts of the terrain goes unused for the game so it's more fun to just fly around just cause. I also like cruising around in the boats just cause.... or watching the villagers go about their day just cause. In other words, there is little to entice me to fight for the just cause. I think these guys should consider a MMRPG or something with more of an exploratory focus..... because grenades shouldn’t roll up hills.

Haha. I think you have a valid point there. It is a pretty looking game though. I guess they did not put as much time in it as they should have. It could have been so[ much better.

Speaking of good looking, I like to take a plane or chopper and fly around looking at the clouds. You can see different kinds including storm clouds that look really cool. As for the physics...better than Driver 2. lol Ever look at Tanner's shadow? He always had handguns in the shadow but never in his hand!

On the other hand, besides grenades doing weird things, I've bailed out of airplanes, busted open my chute, ran smack dab into a cliff...and lived?! lol This game is awesome. I should go back and finish it. O.o

I agree, I must have spent over 100 hours just flying and and cruising over the water, climbing mountains, jumping off of them, searching for cool planes, etc. Everytime I didn´t know what game to play, I popped in Just Cause.

Too bad I hardly ever played it since I 1000´d it...

It really is stunning to look at from the sky, is very detailed. They said that they are going to try and make the map not be 95% useless, good looking environment in Just Cause 2, so lets see how that turns out.

Definitely agree. the physics are terrible, I hate how he runs like he has a grenade up his ass. But, the scenery....I love it. I also love the music when you freefall from a high altitude... Makes me feel so 'free' hahah. I love huuuge sandbox games and Just Cause really appeals to me. Everything about the environment is great, IMO the graphics for the environment are truly stunning!

If the physics were a lot better it could be a stunner of a game, since it was the first game they've made apparently it's a pretty damn solid effort I must say! I really look forward to Just Cause 2!
