im doing the use only machine gun and use only multi role aircraft medals in one shtint here but I have a few questions:


What difficulty must I be on? (im using easy)
can i use air support?
how do i take out the cockpit of aigon without using a missile? I've been shooting it for days and no damage has been done.

Yeah, i'm currently working on that one as well.

1. You must be on normal difficulty or higher or you won't get the medals.

2. You can use all manner of air support you can also use ecms just make sure all your kills come from machine guns.

3. I'm not sure about the agaion as I haven't gotten that far yet. I guess it can be done as one of my friends has cleared it with guns only.

The best thing to do with the Aigion is to go behind it and then fly through it on the runway thing and machine gun upwards as you fly through. Come in quick to avoid missiles and then air brake to fly through slow enough not to hit the deck.

May take you a few passes but that's how i've always done it. Make sure to gun the little cranes inside it - they don't come up as targets but they can be destroyed for like 125 pts each or something.

Make sure to do it on a SP game on medium difficulty or higher.

My apologies, I was getting mixed up with the CORE which only appears on Hard and higher. The method in the post above will work with the CORE but not the cockpit.

I tried it again last night and couldn't manage to do any damage to the cockpit with guns alone. But then again I was in an A-10 (for the attacker air craft medal thingy) so I don't know. I'll try and find out then edit this post with an answer or something later on. Sorry!
