View Full Version : Anyone else having issues with the Voice sound level?

i can make out what nathan is saying, but hearing other people isn't that easy. and that masked guy on the tv, forget it, i can't hear it. i adjusted the levels, dropping sound effects and music to 40-60. but i really didn't hear a difference.

anyone having this issue?

besides buying a new tv, any tips?

ummm im not having that particular problem, but ive got a few problems otherwise in different aspects of this game..if you can hear fine on other games than its not your tv cuz the audio on this game is great for me.. I cant understand why your having that problem though.. maybe a faulty disk.

Only guy I can't hear is the masked t.v. guy but he kind of annoys me anyway

I just enable subtitles, helps alot.

I'm getting the same problem. In the intro alone 3 things did not have sound. 1. Ethan's first sentence of dialogue. 2. The glass he breaks before leaving the bar. 3. The first sentence of dialogue from the bum.
And trying to hear the masked guy on the tv is a fucking challenge even with subtitles on as the font is white on white most the time. @.@

One time I did noticed the audio got quiet. Also, this game's audio cuts in and out quite a bit for me.

get a surround sound system and you'll never have a problem again :)

i've got surround sound and it's definitely a bug in the game. certain conversations are extremely muffled and i had to turn on subtitles. no other problems with it cutting out or anything here though

I use surround as well, tried various settings, sound for other characters are really low. When I play this game I forget I have my volume turned up, so when I go to do something else later on the box, the sounds is QUITE loud.

i think they probably screwed something up with the 5.1

a patch will probably come and fix it though.

nothing too bad.
