In addition to the support Epic Games provides for its tools, they also gave the source code of Gears of War.

"We used Unreal 3, as you know, so our guys had the luxury of picking and choosing the parts of the Gears of War cover system that we thought that fits the Bourne shooting experience." O'Connor told Gamasutra.

Futhermore, High Moon Studios also got the level layout of Gears, which the developers of The Bourne Conspiracy found to be a great piece of design.

"That was a cold bath for my guys when they saw how they built the Gears of War levels. They look a lot more complex than they are. They're brilliantly executed in that regard."

Well i did like how Gears looked and worked. So if High Moon is going to use this then the game will be alot different then i thought...and maybe better.

During one of the gameplay trailers, Bourne ran for cover in classic roadie run style. The camera even went low and behind him and started shaking as if someone was chasing him. I thought, "Where have I seen that before?"

the engine was sick in the demo, but making it work to their advantage is just something we have to see in the level design of the actual game.
