any tips for the relic?

I have tried this about 50 times. One question first is there any way to save other than save points cause i already had to redo the whole chapter 11 cause i got too tired last night trying this.

The stratgey im using now is:

Close door
Fight first wave
Roll right rock on 2nd wave
Storm to the beach and kill the trolls with Carnal Fury
Then the relic always seems to get broken on the 4th wave.

What am i doing wrong?

There are a few topics talking about this, but I'll hit you up with some info.

Some people have different strategies, concerning fighting the trolls at the beach for instance. Well this is what I did and it still took several tries:

1. Close the door to your right.

2. Stay near the top and had my carnal charged up and ready to go as soon as guys start coming up hit carnal and ravage through the first wave making sure no one makes it on the little wooden platform (be careful you can hurt the relic in carnal mode).

3. Second wave (this is where I always had problems) pretty much did the same thing as above ( watch out with the guys with shields they can be hard to take out without being carnal)

4. Trolls: Okay as soon as you see the Trolls come out of the water have your Thanes start hacking the rock on the left (don't do the song). When the trolls get somewhat close to the gate hit the Thanes song and have them hack the rock down. If its timed right the rock will kill both Trolls without a hitch.

5. Last wave: I quickly hacked the other rock with the Thanes song let the rock kill some of them, then went into Carnal and finished any stragglers.

Extra tips:

-Don't leave the top.
-Have carnal upgraded as much as possible.
-Try and save every Thane up to that point in the game.
-Keep Carnal charged so you just have to hold it for a second to initiate it.


Good luck man this will probabley make you wanna snap this disk in two, but you'll get it, takes a lot of luck and even more patience. Just stay calm and collected and eventually you'll get it.

This part is really easy on legend if you be tactical;

I never used Carnal becuase you can break the relic yourself, which would be annying :(
Before any waves come close the one entrance with the thane song so that the enemy only has 2 ways of getting to you.
Don't bother using any pillars as they make you slow
Use theboulders on the trolls and the last wave.

You should have itdone in no time, I did it 1st time as i had already done it on Thane and new exactly what to do.

this game is complete crap.

my weapons break after almost every single fight. none of my guys come to me when i call them, they all just run down the path to the beach to not fight 1 enemy. i'm left up top alone to defend the relic, swapping out weapons every minute.

this was definitely a pain, took about 3-4 tries. I could not find a way to do it while being heroic, so i had to turn on the carnal fury during the second wave. if u make sure to kill enough guys heroic for the other parts of the episode you'll still get the heroic awards.


and yes my weapons were always breaking too, but when they did just finish up the wave barehanded, ESPECIALLY if close to the relic. then grab another weapon from the nearby rack for the next wave

Screw this s**t. I have had it with this stupid game. 4 hours i tried that part and never even got close to finishing it. Something always and I mean always made it past me and the numerous worthless men that were supposed to be helping me while they were playing in the water down at the beach. Back in the envelope it goes and back to Gamefly. The achievement pts on this game were not worth the hassle of it.

I used the strategy posted by Crimson Drifter to beat this. This level was annoying an a major pain in the ass.

I actually completed this on my first try on Legend (Carnal).

I only used Carnal to grab kill the trolls and once the objective started, I sent my Thanes to get the boulders to around 95%, so I could send them down as soon as I needed to.

When the trolls got near, I released the boulders. So, I only had to deal with 1 or 2 trolls.

This was the only objective I got a Hero medal/token on.
