I'm on music IV and no matter how much I try I just can't do it. What score do you need for a pass?

What makes it more frustrating is half the time the controls for your left drumstick fail to register, I swapped controllers in case of a dodgy controller but no joy. Anyone else having this problem.

i forget, but i recall being annoyed at how high you had to get it. it's like 80%. but if you think that's annoying, wait til music 5.

frankly, bio annoyed me more. what kind of BS is 100% or fail? every other class you can actually do reasonably and pass. bio has to be PERFECT.

no. but it does take some getting used to, especially quick transitions.

dude music class, biology and chemistry are three of the easiest classes in the game....the hardest one is geography...i'm still on geography 1...tryin to put them flags where they belong...thats hard...but music is easy....and on music 4, i think you need a 81 or higher to pass...

Wow, I am suprised at this. I found Music class one of the easiest classes. I never failed one at all. Hmm...maybe I have it synced or something. I even 100% the Nutcrackin' mission.

Geography difficult? The only tricky part of Geography for me was the second one with the US states, the others were really easy I found.

Art on the 360 does somehow seem a bit more tricky than the PS2 version for some reason

I didn't find music overly hard, in fact they were all fairly easy (if you used a guide for geography and english :P ).

chemistry's easy if you've done it before. music is easy once you get in the groove of it and figure out the controller timing.

but geography? that was very easy.

I can't seem to pass music 3, only because when I try to do them both together, most of the time, they don't register it, even when I do it exactly, nothing happens, and it tells me I failed.

I have to disagree there. I found the art classes much easier on the 360 version.

This was the same as Shop. Once I got the hang of Biology it was okay, but Shop sucked, even if you do what it said it sometimes just failed you for no reason.

It helps to listen to the music while you're doing it more so than trying to have everything line up in the box. You can pretty much figure out when to hit the triggers based on the music.

oh, no, you just need to get the hang of it, and then it's super easy. seriously. having played the game twice on the ps2 before playing it on the 360, i had very few problems getting it done, often nailing it on the first try. but it DID suck the first time, yes.

basically, it's just chemistry, only shorter and less complicated, and stays the same every time. but you have to learn how to move the sticks just right, or be doing it ahead of time.

It's the easiest class ever guys. The only difficult level of music is number 4, because as the Thread Author said, the left drumstick fails to register on quick transitions.

I friggin' hated music class, I had the same problems when you have to hit left and right triggers at the same time not registering. I eventually, for music minigames, just signed out and signed back in using my Hori Fighting Stick. It has the triggers like regular buttons and I think it helped me a bit.

They should've used the RB, LB buttons for the Music class. It would've made it easier. I think the problem is that the trigger takes a little bit more time to register because you have to pull it down.

I don't think I have failed music yet but I have noticed its lack of registering notes when I hit them correctly.

Having played the PS2 ver to death I can pretty much say shop seems to be a hell of alot more forgiving as far as hitting the turns with the left thumbstick.

I'm stuck on Music 3. Neither one of my triggers seem to register half the time. I dont have any problems anywhere else, just here. The double ones are where it messes up the most. Seems I wont complete this game as to never being able to pass Music.

The only two classes I have left is Music 5 and Biology 5. Music 4 I had to play twice before I passed it and Biology 4 was actually kind of easy. I have already failed both level 5's once but they did not seem to be too hard. I guess we will see tonight........

Near the end I'd just save before each class, that way you aint waiting a week to re-do them. When you have a crack at music 5 and get the tune in your head you should nail it when you go back to it.

Aced them all 1st time here too, In fact I think IV & V were easiest as you build up a rhythm.

I had some difficulty with music class, one of the only classes I struggled with, even more so than biology. Music 5 was obviously the worst, taking me a solid 10 or so tries to complete. I found the song to get annoying but catchy at the same time and the tune was stuck in my head so I found it easier to get the timing down and was rewarded for not losing my cool and not giving up. Other than that, I really can't tell you how much I've been enjoying this game, I'm truly captivated by it, easily one of my favorites this year and maybe all-time.

If you get stuck on a class just save before you go to your lesson, That way if you fail the lesson, reload your save and try again...Just keep doing this till the lesson is passed...

I just failed my first music class at Music 4, it does seem like it sometimes does not register the left trigger but oh well, hopefully I can nail it next time.

I found Bio to be the funnest so far. I don't know if it gets harder, I think I've completed 3 or 4 but they are rather simple and interesting.

The hardest one for me has been shop. At the very beginning where you have to rotate the left analog stick, the second I move the stick it registers it as wrong, I always do it the right way but it rarely gives it to me and it's beginning to get really frustrating since I'm still on Shop 1.

It is strange, I found Biology 2 to be an absolute bitch for a while, then when I did pass it, I breezed through 3 and 4 first time.

i had the same music problem others have mentioned when you need to pull both triggers at the same time... it only registered maybe half of the times i did it... failing a few double taps never got me to fail a class, as all other notes were very easy to hit, even the ones in quick succession...

I tried switching controllers. But it still doesnt work. Everytime LT and RT are close together or together 1 and most of the time both triggers never register in the game. How am I suppose to get past a class when the game doesnt register I am hitting the button? And this is what is stopping me fromm 100%. Music 4 almost all the notes are close together.
If I could get some one to hold half the controller and only do the left triggers while I do the right trigger, or visa versa. I would try it to see if it would work.
But alas I have no friends, in the flesh.

I think I got Music 5 with 90%, which is required to pass, on like the second to last note. Good thing there weren't too many notes with both triggers at the same time because I don't get why the game doesn't register it often.
