Question About The Birds

When I watched one of the TV's that is scattered throughout the map, it said that the emmiters gave the birds the disease... In the original game I don't remember seeing any emmiters near or around the birds... Anyone understand?

It doesn't give them a disease. It blows up there small head.

You have to get the emmiters, tvs/radios antennas, and thats it I think.

I was hoping for more collectibles. oh well. It's a great game so far, very cool.

Not so much a collectable, but more an action. There are "responses" in addition to the "antennas" and "emmiters". There are x amount in each mission like the other two. Basically the game prompts you to press the a button at certain moments with so much time to do so.

The creatures in the first one acted as the emmiters do in the second they both let out that noise which causes the brain bleed and the exploding bird heads

In the first game its never clearly answered that the birds are dying from a disease, just that dead birds seemed linked to the rise in violent crime/behavior; and that the violent behavior was possibly linked with the "Cult" (the Oro).

The emitters just seem to be the next phase in their grand scheme since there probably aren't enough of them to cover a wide enough area with their voice-power...thing.

the emitters are aimed at causing natural evil in people to escape and come to the surface. thus creating the riots
