this game is great! i really don't see people's problems with it. the only thing i see bad it is the length. that's it. really, this game is super fun to me.

and lol to someone saying it's "hard" on normal. I'm playin on hell mode at the moment and only died once (i'm on level 3....)

It was short and sweet but frustrated the hell out of me trying to go for achievements.

Wow for $10, I would at least try this game on an extra profile. All the bashing really turned me off to this game. I was really interested in this game but there were so many other games out. I think I still want to play Eternal Sonata, Overlord, Beautiful Katamari, and finish Armored Core 4.

I wouldn't say it was great but it wasn't as bad as the reviews it received.

Its quite good fun in places and the graphics aren't to bad just hate the last boss as he takes soooooooo long :(

Frankly, I really enjoyed the game. After I beat it and had the full 1000, I replayed the game another couple times just for fun.

I would definitely play BW2 if it came out.

I actually enjoyed the game. Not as bad as people say. A fun basic shooter, with some cool powers.

A while back I had gotten a bunch of money and planned to buy this, but Earth Defense Force caught my eye. If only I had enough then to buy both.

this was a solid 7/10, no matter what the revs said. played the heck out of it, more than much higher profile titles. i think what got people off were the graphics, which were pretty mediocre.

It had potential and seemed to be heading in the right direction. But after a while it felt like a big demo or a not quite finished title. This one needed some more time in development and it would have been solid.

It wasn't terrible but so so. And any game that forces you to play through it multiple times for the achievements is just wrong.

don't see anything wrong with achieves that kinda compel you to play again and again, although with BW yes, the fifteen hours unlock did border on the tedious heh heh. what do you mean stackable completion?

the snipers are a bit tough, you just need to memorize locations and send a meteor shower their way if available...

Beating the game on hard will get you the medium/easy achievements as well. A lot of games do this but some are stubborn and do not (like this one evidently).

This was one game that I eagerly waited for when it first came out. Saw all the bad reviews, but decided I wanted to get it anyway, and have not regretted it. My and my SO think its great. We got so frustrated with all the bad reviews we actually wrote to the creators how much we liked it. They actually replied :)

this game also had a good sense of humor - nothing beats hilarious soundbites! the geists were awesome: "did they get you?" "he was no good anyway!" heh heh.
