Help With Action Sequences?

Just a quick plea for help in the action sequences. I'm in Ghana, where the giant Indiana Jones Boulder comes rolling down the staircase. It's showing an icon of Lara with her guns drawn... is that right stick? Is that right trigger? Is it left trigger? I get it, and half a second later I die, have to reload (about 10 seconds) go back into position (10 seconds) and watch the cutscene again (10 seconds).

So I go waste 30 seconds of my life trying to nail something at that precise moment. What do I need to do to get past that?

It isn't one of those action squences where you press the buttons, its one of those parts when you've gota do it yourself , when it appears start to run away from the boulder and doge the traps that are stuck by running and jumping
