reading it he actually makes a lot of sense
and says hes been misquoted on a few things in the past
but i found myself in agreement with 1 or 2 of the things he said
like games rated 17+ shouldnt be sold to under 17 year olds (just like here in the uk and most of europe,asia and australia)
and that parents need to make sure what their kids play is suitable
he also says hes not trying to ban mature games just not let impressionable minors get their hands on them
(why miners cant play games ill never know i mean if they can work down mines surely they can play games)

I can't disagree more about banning mature games for minors... They should concetrate on guns, vioence and media. not Video Games. They should be looking at the few kids that video games affect mentally not us who are under 17.... I am 15 and play all the mature games i want to.... Im neither a violent or possesive person and I beleive that Video Games dont affect me in anyway during real world situations other than taking lots of my time...

Not True.... If I saw myself as a parent I wouldn't mind my kids playing mature video games to a certain point... I wouldnt let a 10 year old play Hitman but once there 14 they can play almost anything they want... Unless I saw something wrong with my child I reallly wouldnt mind....

i dont think stores should be able to sell games rated for 17+ to people under 17, but if their parent walks in and hands the guy at the register hte money theres really no problem because they then know that the game is rated for people 17+. it tends to piss my mom off when she had to walk into the store everytime i want to buy a game though.
