Stuck

Im on the second stage, where anne is supposed to open a big wooden door for me, but she walks along a wooden plank after climbing a ladder, then stands there doing nothing, how can I get through? I have cleaned the disc, rebooted 360 etc etc.

If you go towards the gate somethings should attack you and her you got to kill them.

just keep progressing through the game...ur not moving far enough to make her move

I cant move any further though, cos of the wooden door, when I walk into the door nothing happens, any help appreciated

maybe u have to opeen it urself? im not to sure cause i havent played this game in a long ass time,but this is really weired that this is happening to u

Nah I have read in walkthroughs that ann is supposed to open the gate for you.......

Its the bit where you clear the bushes with fire, theres 2 flying bird things that you shoot down, and the scorpions eat them, then you burn them all, theres a pathway to the right you walk up, then you come to a cavern type place, with a ladder to the right.

Ann climbs this ladder, and walks along a plank of wood to the right of you, then she stands in front of a lever, looking at you, and does nothing.

I jump into the water in front of me, walk around, swim, shoot, shoot ann, shoot the huge wood gate/door, nothing happens.

I can peek through the gate to the right of it, but cant quite squeeze through, it needs to be opened, I have spent 3 hours trying to get through this door, according to Guides, it only takes 4 hours to complete, this is sooo frustrating

Also I cant seem to climb the ladder ann does, she must be far more agile than me.

UPDATE.......

I managed to get past it by running in front of her, then she opened the 2 doors, now I am stuck again, on sacrifice stage, carl is supposed to free me, but he just stares at me like a lemon, and i cant move to do anything.
