New update

Sorry to make an entire thread for this but I didnt notice anyone else bring this up yet so.......AC just received a new update when I logged in today. Anyone know what they updated/fixed? I havent noticed anything obvious.

Well, i popped a few other games in and apparently there are updates for almost everything....I would think its XBL related but why the update for AC? Hmm...

I think it's some kind of glitch. The other day I was playing AC, and I had to update. Then I put in GoW, had to update. So when I got bored of that, I put AC back in, and I had to update again.

The way the updates work, is that they are cached on your system, so if you play one game, such as ur AC and then go play GoW (or any other game that has a update for it), you'll have to REdownload it again, HOWEVER, if you were to play it offline, you wouldn't get the update again, some patches are good, some are meant to fix glitches that were useful, just gotta know what the patch is for and what u are trying to do.

He's not wrong, he just didn't finish the explanation. Your hard drive has a set amount of space for updates. Once that space is full, if a game you put in has an update, the update will be cached instead of being saved on your system. Once you change to another game that needs an update, the cache gets dumped and the second game's update takes up the cache.

After it updated, I can't go into the Animus after I beat the game. I had to start the game over to get Enemy of the Poor and Hands of a Thief achievements.
