Here's what I think would be a definite easier way to tell a games DLC achievements for a game apart from it's standered in game ones. Because I myself find it quite a pain when I almost have to use an "Elimination Process" to figure this out.

Here's my two cents:

Apart from having the regular list of achievement, I think the list should be segregated, much like the secret achievements are, except it say's something along the lines of "Downloadable Content" this would surely make it easier to tell which achievements are which instead of mashing them all together.

May be a simple thought, but I honestly think people would like this feature, I know I would.

This has been suggested before at least once, probably more times. Nothing wrong with the idea but it is one of the many things that logic and a little effort can solve. New DLC achievements are added onto the end of the appropriate list, not 'mashed' together with the other achievements. So you should know where they are, checking the forums can show you which ones are new too.

Although I agree that it would help if they were identified even by a little logo in the green bar with the achievement name in or a little image that is just below the gamerscore for the achievement to show that it is from a DLC pack.

I don't really think that they need to be seperate, but a check box that hides them like the secret achievements would be nice.

I totally agree with Zef, they are seperated really since they are right at the bottom of the lists and usually you'd recognise they are the new achievements but it would be nice for them to have a little symbol to show they are.
Maybe the MS point symbol if that would be allowed?

There are two ways this could be done. We could manually put "(DLC)" in the name of the achievement on the game's page... or we could be patient and wait for the achievement "tagging" system that was talked about recently and I could have Routine add a "DLC" tag. Then, they would be tagged as DLC in addition to whether it was single player or whatever else.

I'm thinking the second one would be better. ;)

I was thinking this earlier, especially because I've bought PGR4 again JUST for the DLC and the chance to get 1250 on a game.

What if the box around the achievement was colored different.

Too much coding involved in that, I would imagine.

I definately wouldn't mind something like this...I have yet to play any DLC yet...so it doesn't effect me at the moment, but I can see how this could be useful :D

Sure, the DLC achievements are marked on the bottom of the list, but sometimes it's hard to find out when the list starts. Take PGR4 for example, they all look a lot alike, and it's understandable to be confused.

This is a great idea, but it might not be needed because to me(And possibly others) its already easy to tell which are the DLC and which are not the DCL.

This is a valid suggestion. Make a separate section like the Secret achievs.

Glad I searched the forums instead of starting a new thread for this. The "tagging" idea (from Pants) isn't too bad ... as long as the tag doesn't change the name of the achievement -- maybe put it near the point value? I like the idea of separating them out like the "Secret" achievements a bit better though.
