yeah ive seen coheed 9 times now, started seeing them live just after the release of Second Stage Turbine Blade... so i'm not Good Apollo bandwagon jumper. Pure classic...

See I totally dislike emo music but I like coheed, I wouldnt stick them in the same boat as MCR who are utter fucking rat shite.

Especially the fact that each album is a continuing story along with comic books, theres a lot more thought in the songs than just the typical im depressed because no girls like me emo bullshit.

I agree, their waaaaaay better than MCR, who are complete trash, but Coheed are still emo.

I have their albums and seen them a few times- we won the contest at Download to see them from the side of the stage :), but the music is still emo. But some emo is cool. Like the first 'emo' band was Fugazi- who were a friggin cool band.

And to bring it back- the Tones are probablyy the best live band in the world, and iv seen a lot of bands. Chino just has a connection to the crowd that iv not seen anyone else get close to. Not the best music always, but the show never stops.

Compare that to Iain Watkins of the Prophets last night- hes such an arrogant twat that people just wanted to knock him out last night. And Prophets have gone completly emo now.
