Why can't I?

Pick up something that is glowing red? I'm on the first level and there is something on like a tree stump of some sort but I can't pick it up. It's glowing a light red?

dont know wat u mean but if its a little jar looking thing then its just health and u might have full lol i dont know

Yeah the reddish items are health items. You can't pick them up when your health is full.
