Gold bag not respawning

I have had a bit of a problem with a gold bag, the one near the mumblers in Heavens Peak. I didn't clear out the mumblers and ran straight past them thinking I would get them later as, after I opened the bridge I assumed my minions would carry the bag to the gate outside but when they started to move towards the mumblers I called them back thinking I could get the bag later on once I cleared them.

I had to go out shortly after so I saved and came back this afternoon after work and the bag has not respawned. I read in another thread that clearing the updates could reset it, I tried that (both without any updates and with refreshed updates) and it has not worked.

Does anybody have any ideas if I can get it to respawn so other way?

Delete save file and restart the game it should be there.

I don't understand what you mean sorry, if I delete my save, aren't I just starting again from the beginning of the game? I don't want to do that.

yer u r erm check it not outside otherwise you will not get it( your mininons might have left it somwhere
